Secrecy and the contest is over.
Thirty-one people correctly guessed the identify of my brand new agent and know his name is . . .

*Confetti blast of cupcakes!*
*And unicorns!*
*Maybe leprechauns?*
Enough celebration. It’s Bragging Time.
Josh (@jgetzler) is awesome. Josh came highly recommended. Even competitor agents gushed about his general fabulousness when they found out who I’d signed with, and that’s not even mentioning how he once managed a NY baseball team and blogs at Hey, There’s a Dead Guy in the Living Room. Hello, cool?
PLUS, Josh specializes in mysteries and young adult fiction, which is the perfect fit for my hip, smart-sleuthing YA. After working with Writer’s House and then Russell & Volkening, he’s now with Hannigan Salky Geztler (HSG) Agency in New York. Round of applause for getting his name on the door, yeah? Josh has a lovely assistant, Danielle Burby (@danielleburby), who was the first person in New York to read my book (in three days), tell me she loved it and pass it on with her recommendation. There’s a special place in my heart for her.
Bottom line? Yay, Josh!
(Did you think I forgot I had a give-away to announce? No way.)

Winner Announcement:
First, to ALL people who solved the name jumble, you have to know how many really struggled. So feel proud. The first letter of the eleven clues were: SJHO (First Name) and LRTGEZE (last name). Rearrange the first set and you get JOSH. Not too bad. Rearrange the second set and you get GETZLER. . . or . . . Zeltger, Gretzle, Geltzer, or Legtezr. (“Legtezr, pronounced Legteaser, fits with the hot tub picture so nicely.” Good point, Ily.)
Some people thought the first letter of every word in the book title clues needed to be included, leading to the last name having these letters: LFAFTMRGGEAPZKE Um, no wonder I got messages from people giving up. Some people were like, “Hey, so awesome. What’s this guy’s ethnicity?”
But now, without further ado, the randomly selected winner of all correct guessers and the winner of the $35 Barnes and Noble gift card goes to:
*Drum Roll Please*
