Dying to Talk Writing?

I’m super excited to have released All Aboard for True Amor recently, partly because it means I get to make the rounds chatting writing with cool authors!

Sunday, November 14 at 5:00 PM

TJ Amberson is a Whitney Award finalist in, of all categories, romance. That’s about as legit as it gets. (Personal opinion: the Whitney Awards are governed by romance fans. Am I crazy? Do you disagree?!)

BUT NOT ONLY THAT, TJ Amberson was my college roommate.

BUT NOT ONLY THAT, we are also chatting with our OTHER roommate, Teresa Richards. Author of my personal daughter’s favorite YA fantasy romance, Emerald Bound. No, we did not talk writing in college, or plan novels, or discuss dreams of authoring. Yet all of us are authors.

All Aboard Launch Party

Moment of silence, please, for the launch party I intended to have . . . outside . . . with NO RAIN.

All right, enough silence. We can go ahead and celebrate needed rain during a drought AND All Aboard’s awesome indoor party!

Special shout out to my sister-in-law, Karri, who arranged flowers to match the cover. She also thought of buying cookies to match. Super cute, right? Well, I couldn’t order them . . . or so I thought. I called. I got a call back that I missed. I emailed. They emailed. I called and called. Worker shortage, I was told.

On the morning of the party, I got a call from a number I didn’t recognize.

“Did you order 100 cookies frosted pink and orange?”

“Um, yes. Do you want me to pay for them?!?”

We had so much fun!. Lots of kids and chalk art and popcorn and cotton candy and old friends and new friends and writing group buddies and neighbors and we didn’t take near enough photos!

Thanks to all who came. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it!
