Can you figure out how each of the noted lyrics go along with each chapter in Shatter?
Chapter 1: Crying off my face again. The Lonely by Christina Perry
Note: Jar of Hearts came out while I was first writing Shatter. I used to sit around imagining how awesome it would be to have a movie deal and Christina Perry writing the theme song. Actually, I still sit around imagining that. However, she already did write a song that is close the tone of Shatter’s opening and Salem’s mood. I’m so excited just for that. 🙂
Chapter 2: I fell into a burning ring of fire. Ring of Fire by Adam Lambert
Chapter 3: Like a rollin’ thunder chasing the wind . . . I can feel it coming back again. I Can Feel it Coming Back Again by Live

Chapter 13: A long time ago we used to be friends. We Used To be Friends by Dandy Warhols
Note: This is the flagship song of the Veronica Mars Soundtrack. VM was totally my inspiration for Shatter!! I had to put this song on my playlist. It seriously twists my gut with anxious pleasure, just imagining how it felt to know I was about to watch another episode. I’m a Veronica Mars super fan forever and ever!!

Note: This is a song about victims of Argentinian political violence. I used to play it over and over again when I was in my teens, trying to learn Spanish. I used to think a lot about why my life was so good and other people’s weren’t.
